ENCOMPASS LIGHTING GROUP RAISES MONEY FOR HAITI – “BLUE JEANS FOR HAITI”
Skokie, IL January 21, 2010 – Encompass Lighting Group raises over $1,264 for the American Red Cross to benefit the Haitian earthquake victims. “Blue Jeans for Haiti” took place on Thursday January 21, 2010; office team members were given the option to wear jeans on what would normally is not a “casual” dress day. Numerous employees jumped at the chance to help the earthquake victims in exchange for a $5.00 donation and another day of “casual” dress; normally reserved for Fridays only. Many donated more than the $5.00 necessary to wear jeans and the plant team members were also very generous with their donations totaling $540 without the incentive of blue jeans.

ENCOMPASS LIGHTING GROUP COLLECTS 102 TOYS FOR THE MARINE TOYS FOR TOTS FOUNDATION
Skokie, IL, December 8, 2009 – Encompass Lighting Group recently held a toy drive for the local community Marine Toys for Tots Foundation. Our generous and giving family at ELG donated 102 toys to this honorable mission. At this time of year, and always, ELG is very grateful for what we have and believe that we should help those less fortunate.

ENCOMPASS LIGHTING DONATES 1,025 POUNDS OF FOOD TO THE GREATER CHICAGO FOOD DEPOSITORY
SKOKIE, IL, JUNE 30, 2009 – Encompass Lighting Group recently participated in the “One City, One Food Drive” campaign for THE GREATER CHICAGO FOOD DEPOSITORY. Our family here at ELG demonstrated an overwhelming level of generosity, and we far exceeded our goal of 345 units of food raising a total of 1,115 units or 1,025 pounds. In response to our donation, we recently received the following thank you note from Kate Maehr, Executive Director of The Greater Chicago Food Depository. Particularly during these challenging times, we at ELG are grateful for what we have, and know that those less fortunately could use our help. We look forward to participating in our next food drive and supporting our local community.
